These chisels are made by a Narex highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are produced from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold a very good edge. The blades are as it should be ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with every edge tool, they are going to need final sharpening before use.
