These chisels are made by a Narex highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are produced from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold a very good edge. The blades are as it should be ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with every edge tool, they are going to need final sharpening before use. These chisels are a very good value in a good quality tool. This can be a 6 piece set that Accommodates the following sizes: 6 mm (1/4), 10 mm (3/8) 12 mm (1/2), 16 mm (5/8) 20 mm (13/16) and 26 mm (1 1/32). They’re ground at a 25 degree bevel. Blades are 4 3/4 inch to 5 1/2 inch long. Handles are black stained and lacquered European Beech are 5 1/2” long. Overall sizes range in length from 10 1/ inch to 11 inches. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and handles have 2 ferrules to resist lively mallet work. They come in wooden presentation box.
